Birds + Bees + Kids Pick!:
I love this book! Girls 14 and older everywhere will find the answer to the number one question of adolescents everywhere - "Am I normal?" Real Girls, Real Bodies, Real Issues - Right On. What more can I say? Read it yourself first, so you know what your daughter will be learning - and let her brother check it out too. A Necessary Book:
This is a book the female world has been waiting for. As a girl, growing up, did you ever wish there was a book that would just "get real" about girl's body issues? This is a book you would have liked to turn to in those difficult moments. Of course, it's ideal for girls to be able to talk to mothers, other family members, or trusted female mentors about these issues. Great Book for young women:
I saw the book at my local library and wanted to purchase it. It is a very truthful book about women's bodies. I recommend it to young women who are having problems with body image, etc. It talks about loving your body despite your flaws, because face it we all have flaws with our bodies.
Body Drama:
I bought this book for my daughter to try to negate the negative images the media portrays of young women. We need more books like this.
