Is it a textbook for students? I think it is. Is it a good textbook? I don't think it is. When I carefully read the whole book, close it and ask myself what I got from this book. One thing. It is not easy to design a perfect eyebrow. If someone asks if I can design for her face now, I have to say sorry and I must read the book once again or more.

I am a licensed esthetician & certified make up artist and always believe in expanding my knowledge in this field. This book is written in text book fashion, it really teaches the technician how to consult, correct, design & enhance their clients brows. The only thing is I wish was that they had more examples & images in color. It is a great book, as I said a great teaching tool.

I don't understand the reviewer who said that this book is vague. If anything, it contains a level of instruction that is far more detailed than most ordinary people need or want. That's not a criticism. The book is very useful for a layperson, but it is written for a professional in training. It is a textbook on the eyebrow, complete with chapter quizzes, published by an educational publisher. Yes, it might be nice to see color rather than black-and-white photographs, but most cosmetology students are not... more info
