I got what I wanted:
I live near this restaurant, and after experiencing the divine Italian food, which is odd because I usually thing of italian as ho-hum, I had to purchase the book. Regular dishes become special. I don't understand how a person can rate this book, based on the fact that you got confused. How is that the books fault?

I was looking for a cookbook for Dr. Nicholas Perricone's diet, however this is NOT it, instead of low carb you get more carb. Don't be fooled by the fact that they offer to sell this in conjunction with one of his books. I wish I had read closer.

If you are looking for information by Nicolas Perricone, and thought this was a diet book to help with his methods, do not buy this book! This is a group of Italian style receipies from an Italian restaurant. The book is small, and though I thought a few of the recipes looked good, it isnt what I expected. I plan to return it.
good food:
The book has a lot of delecious recepies. The tiramisu is really delicous. Dont expect to much from this book though other than a lot of good recepies.
