I'm fairly disappointed with this book - it claims to be a "guide" to scratch building, but most of it is really just a long-winded discussion about scratch-building in general terms. There are very few specific instructions on how to do things. An example: there is a chapter dedicated to "Covering" but it provides no instructions on how to actually cover your model, it just discusses different covering materials.
