Who buys a book to learn to knife fight? This is clearly written for idiots. Good luck getting stabbed fools.
Practical is absolutely correct:
This book gives concise explanations and very easy to follow directions and photographic sequences. By limiting the number or techniques, a person with an interest, but not hundreds of hours to spend, can practice techniques and obtain some proficiency.
One Serious Omission:
I don't see how anybody could read this book without getting a big smile on his/her face. It gives that much pleasure! I have a confession. I love Michael Janich. I don't mean in a gay way, since I'm basically a neuter and not interested in any of that stuff. But Michael has made a DVD about cutting people with knives, and he has brought me immense joy swinging my knife around trying to follow his moves. Okay, he's way too fast for me; I can't keep up.
