For a younger crowd:
The tips and tricks in this book are great, but most of the eye shadow layouts are seemingly for young adults as opposed to me (a 30 year old woman). But I still thought it gave great ideas and tips to use and I still use some of the layouts provided with more settle colors!
Not what I hoped it would be:
This book was okay. I wan not very impressed with the most of the eye make-up pictures in the book. There are only a few that I will probably try. I would nit recommend it.
A love hate relationship:
First my love for this book: I am very happy with the color combinations and the swatches of color on the right side of the page making it easy to tag and then pick up colors at MAC or Sephora to apply to my eyes. There are some combinations I would normally not have tried if I didn't get this book. For that, I am grateful.
Now for the hate:
One of my pet peeves is having eyebrows ridiculously unkempt or bushy, they look overpowering to a face, especially a teenager appearing in a photo shoot.... more info
Eye mkeups:
Most of the eye makeups shown are not wearable for everyday life but are good for trying out and experiencing with different colors.
