Excellent, informative and well-written - must have for every library:
I bought this book for my fiance and he can't put it down. We are both very interested in living a self-sufficient lifestyle and as well-read as he is, he is continually impressed with the breadth and depth of this book!
Good book, but old techniques:
Book is an easy resource for self sufficiency, however the techniques are a bit dated. Recommended for traditional gardening techniques and farming, canning etc. Brian Housewert
