I was so excited when I saw that Amazon had Vince Flynn's book, Transfer of Power for a "good" price! I had decided I wanted the FIRST Book introducing Mitch Rapp........on other sites that resell items, the book was so expensive.......I have read all of V.F.'s books, and happy to have the one where it all begain w/Mitch. I give it a five star of course, as I would all of Flynn's books.
My First Flynn Novel and it was....:
The Good: Flynn writes solid stories. He is well embedded in this type of narrative and he seems to have a firm grasp of what he's doing, where he's going and how he wants to get there. I think the best part about this book was the perceived realism. Now I say "perceived" because I have never been under terrorist control nor have I been in a terrorist hunting unit. Transfer of Power:
Book arrived in good condition only after two inquiries. Over a month in coming. I received a note the day after I purchased the book saying it had been shipped. The post mark proved otherwise.
