This is a compendium of homekeeping that everyone needs. Not all of us were raised with a "Martha" mom and can't call home to find out how to do all those necessary tasks well or at least not incorrectly. And alas, you CAN do things wrong - which might be worse that not at all. (I washed everything together my first time on my own and voila! grey whites, size 0000 woolens, etc.) Get this for yourself, give this to all children on their own (yours or not). Two suggestions alone made my life easier. First, after making my bed using Martha's method, all it takes in the morning is a tug at one side, folding the sheet over the covers, then doing the same on the other (one I get out of), fluffing the pillows and I am done! Second, the vinegar and water solution is truly the best for cleaning laminate floors - no longer any residue build up left by commercial cleaners - and costs just pennies.
