interesting. but not useful:
Eve Pearl's the miracle of makeup techniques is an amazing book. it is full of pictures and how to achieve certain looks, but isnt made for the average person. the models in the book wear piles of makeup, almost like a mud face mask. it is more of a informative book than something that the average person will use, it shows what makeup can achieve, but isnt realistic for someone who wears makeup for fun.

I had the opportunity to attend a lecture/demonstration by Ms. Pearl at the International Makeup Artist Trade Show in Pasadena a few years back. She is an amazing artist and has lots to offer.
