This book is funny, well-written, and full of lipstick info. It includes recipes for making your own lipstick, as well as the psychology of lipstick, and even some lipstick-name haiku! The most extensive and entertaining book about lipstick ever in print.

I bought this book for my aunt, but read it first because it was so entertaining and captivating. It is distinguished by its witty, sharp writing. My friend Sarah got this book as a gift from her Aunt Wendy, who also likes to send books about serial killers, and pictures of other people's dead cats. I flipped through it when I was staying at her house in Baltimore a few month's ago. I really like Baltimore. The book seemed good, but not as good as the one Aunt Wendy sent about vampires.
Valentines Day Favorite!!!:
I've been giving this book for a Valentines Day gift and a Mothers Day gift for a few years, and it is always a hit. The book hits all the buttons-- sentimental, erotic, exotic, hot topics! Both very funny and very informative-- and tried and true lipstickians (like Mom) feel sentimental and knowing towards the information, and the Valentiners get all fired up by all the info and quotes on red and the mouth and the sex of the stick of a lipstick!!
